ROLE SUMMARY:

An exciting Manager , Financial Controller opportunity has arisen in LSEG FX, reporting to the division's Financ ial Controller . LSEG FX offers outstanding international forex trading platforms and solutions to 4,000 customers , in 100 countries and averaging US$ 600 billion in notional liquid trade volumes every day .

The role will be in volved in all aspects of divisional financial control, board reporting and fina ncial regulatory oversite .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Coordinate month end timetable s and the period close process . This includ ed attendance of daily update calls with Group Finance.

• Prepare journal entries, carefully checking support and allocations.

• Perform month end analytical review procedures to gain comfort over the FX legal entity balance sheets and income statements before period close.

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline. Drive improvement . E nsure accounts are reconciled in a ti mely manner and ap propriately substantiated.

• Work closely with the Division's Financ ial Controller to improve divisional reporting and controls .

• Prepare quarterly board materials and monthly management accounts for the nominated international FX Regulated Entities . Provide financial insights and commentary to support business decision-making and performance reviews.

• Manage the relationship with the external auditors and prepare audit materials as requested by auditors .

• Ensure robust financial controls are embedded across all processes, including segregation of duties, approval hierarchies, and audit trails.

• Support the implementation and monitoring of internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX or equivalent), including walkthroughs and control testing.

• F inancial regulatory reporting is predominantly led by a centralised team however a working knowledge of MiFI D and international financial regulations relating to capital markets and trading venues would be advantageous .

• Financial regulatory responsibilities could include the performance or review of business risk modelling in Excel , and assistance with quarter ly submissions of financials to international regulators.

• Contribute to the production of annua l financial regulatory documents such at ICAAP, ICARA or annual wind down planning (depending on the international jurisdiction ). This may include participating in scenario workshops with executive level stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and standardization across offshore finance operations.

• Lead or support finance transformation initiatives (Beacon) , including system upgrades, workflow improvements, and reporting enhancements.

• Build an in-depth knowledge of the chart of accounts, ledger string coding, finance systems such as Essbase, HFM , SAP and Oracle Fusion. Work towards becoming a subject matter authority for the wider Finance team.

• Team management - Mentor and develop offshore team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN:

• The LSEG FX Finance team are responsible for business partnering, forecasting , budgeting, legal entity financial control, production of monthly management accounts reports, financial regulatory stress scenario modelling, and financial regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will therefore have exposure to coaching, develop ment and grow th in a wide range of activities under the guidance of experienced team leadership (including the Division ' s Finance Director).

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Q ualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar ) with a minimum of 5 years PQE .

• Strong people and stakeholder management track record .

• Extensive experience in legal entit y , division al or business unit financial control .

• Tenacious. Ability to identify , chase down issues and follow through to conclusion .

• Technical accounting, particularly UK GAAP and IFRS .

• Strong excel modelling and control skills.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Background in financial services or capital markets .

• Experience with Blackline, SAP, Orac l e, Hyperion and Essbase Systems is desirable.

• Financial process improvement.

• Financial regulatory reporting including ICAAP, ICARA, monthly and quarterly financial regulatory submissions.
