Pikeville Medical Center is a 300-bed tertiary care center offering more than 400 services with over 300 physicians on staff and 3,000+ employees. This year, PMC is excited to be celebrating its 92nd year of service to the community and surrounding area. PMC is a proud member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network; an association that we believe is extremely beneficial to our patients, as well as our physicians. PMC offers all specialties and nearly all sub-specialty services.
Our diabetes education program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association and our certified diabetes educator has received certification in Medtronic Minimed insulin pumps and Real Time continuous glucose monitoring system. The Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner has 20 years experience with PMC. PMC just recently completed their $150 million clinic building, which houses brand new state of the art Endocrinology physician offices and exam rooms. Other services we offer that complement this practice are : Radiology, Ophthalmology, Bariatric Surgery and Nutrition and Diabetes Education.
